오늘 세계혈우연맹(World Federation of Hemophilia, WFH)에서는 6월 14일부터 17일까지 말레이시아 쿠알라룸푸르에서 열리는 2020 WFH 세계 총회를 연기하거나 취소할 계획이 없음을 홈페이지를 통해 밝혔다.
하지만 WFH는 이번 코로나19의 상황을 면밀히 예의주시하고 있다며, 코로나19의 상황을 이메일, 트위터, 페이스북 및 웹 사이트를 통해 국제 혈액장애 커뮤니티에 신속하게 정보를 제공할 것이라고 밝혔다. 아울러 WFH는 모든 혈우사회 구성원들이 WHO의 권고 사항을 따를 것을 권장한다고 덧붙였다.

WFH 2020 World Congress update — March 5, 2020
With the WFH 2020 World Congress due to take place from June 14–17, 2020 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (still 14 weeks away), the WFH team continues to confidently plan ahead for Congress. While we currently have NO plans to postpone or cancel the event, we are closely assessing the situation on a regular basis and will keep the international bleeding disorders community informed via email, Twitter, Facebook and the Congress website.
